Preschool Explorers
This program is ideal for families who are seeking a way to introduce a more structured literacy based program for their children as they begin to transition into a preschool setting. Programs will incorporate literacy development, socialization, creativity and imagination as emphasized in the PA Learning Standards for Early Childhood Education. Simple concepts like taking turns, cooperation, sequencing, prediction, rhyming, phonics and many more will be introduced during the program. The Book Club at the Tyrone-Snyder Public Library meets once a month on the first Tuesday of the month at 6pm. Each month the group reads the same title from a member created list, and meets to discuss it. In most cases, copies of the book of the month are available for checkout at the library.
